ROCK THE STARS IS THE PARTY OF THE DECADE

48th Annual Ball Honors the Generosity and Commitment of the Dallas Community

Dallas, TX:  If you missed the Junior League of Dallas' Auction & Casino Party in November, then you CANNOT miss ROCK THE STARS, "the party of the decade," on Saturday, February 20, 2010.  The 48th annual Ball recognizes the many Patrons, Sponsors and Supporters who have generously donated the necessary funds to assist the local agencies that the Junior League of Dallas (JLD) is supporting in 2009-2010.  Grammy winner singer/songwriter, Rick Springfield, will headline the event at the Hilton Anatole and Time Machine will provide the late-night entertainment. This ultimate social networking gala includes a VIP Green Room Reception for Sterling, Crystal and Platinum Sponsors with Rick Springfield sponsored by Dallas Southwest Osteopathic Physicians, a cocktail hour for all guests and then a seated dinner with an after-dinner performance by the rock star. During the Ball, the JLD will be auctioning off a

guitar donated, decorated and signed by Amanda Dunbar of Precious Rebels and signed by Rick Springfield. Also on the auction block is an on-stage serenade by Rick Springfield that will be sure to knock you off your feet

"More than ever, we are celebrating the loyalty of our donors and their amazing generosity and support of the JLD," stated Angela Nash, Ball Chair. Sponsorship packages and tickets are still available by contacting the Junior League of Dallas at 214.357.8822, ext. 118 or recognition@jld.net.
