Some
don't realize the Red Cross not only helps in national disasters,
but in local and very personal emergencies, as well. Imagine your
house burning down in the middle of the night and you have nowhere
to go. The American Red Cross volunteers immediately arrive on
the scene with clothing and food, accommodations are arranged
and they take care of your family before the sun comes up.
These
disasters and others happen every day and the Dallas Area Chapter
responds.
