Keynote Speaker, presented by Dee and Charles Wyly
Deborah Norville, two time Emmy Award Winning Journalist and anchor of the nation's top-rated syndicated newsmagazine, Inside Edition. She is seen daily by nearly five million viewers nationwide, as well as in 30 foreign countries. Norville is also the author of "Thank You Power," which is on the New York Times best seller list.

David Feherty
Master of Ceremonies, (very generously waived his usual $35,000 speaker fee)
David Feherty, CBS Sports golf commentator.
According to a 2007 survey in Golf Digest, Feherty is the nation's favorite golf announcer. He is also an accomplished author, writing a monthly column for Golf Magazine, a bi-weekly piece for their website, Golfonline.com and the author of four books, all of which have become bestsellers.

William E. Klunk, M.D.
William E. Klunk, M.D. Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh, will receive the Nancy R. McCune Research Award at the 2007 A.W.A.R.E. Luncheon. The award, given annually to a scientist for outstanding advances in the field of Alzheimer's research, is named for Nancy R. McCune, whose family has commemorated her long struggle with Alzheimer's disease with the naming of this award.

A.W.A.R.E. is a support organization of the Greater Dallas Chapter and shares the same purposes as the Chapter. Proceeds from the annual luncheon and other projects help fund Alzheimer's education, research, support and guidance for the Alzheimer's families in the Chapter's service area, and political advocacy for medical, social and financial needs of families.

Since its inception in 1987, AWARE has become a powerful fundraising organization promoting Alzheimer's awareness and financial support for its parent organization, the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Dallas Chapter.

Mission Statement:
The purpose of AWARE shall be the same as the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Dallas Chapter. The purposes are:
" Provide guidance and support for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, their families and caregivers.
" Advocate for the medical, social, psychological and financial needs of the individuals with Alzheimer's disease, their families and caregivers.
" Educate and inform lay and professional people and interested agencies and groups.
" Encourage and support research into the causes, improved diagnosis, prevention and cure of Alzheimer's disease.
