Raises $1.6 million for Dallas Museum of Art

This forty-fifth annual gala for the Dallas Museum of Art, recently re-branded as
The Art Ball, was held on May 5, 2007. Titled Continuum, the event was a celebration of the momentum and progress that the DMA is experiencing.

For the event, Art Ball Creative Director, Todd Fiscus created a tribute to classic Hollywood glamour with a very modern spin.

Guests entered the party through a white glass tunnel with an illuminated path of yellow glowing lights.

Once inside, guests were treated to spectacular auction boutiques created by some of Dallas' most innovative style-setters:

The Museum's Barrel Vault was transformed into gallery dining room featuring with diagonal white, brown and yellow-striped carpeting, velvet linens in the same tone, with lush floral in white classic urns, modern table lamps and lush paves. Baroque china along with modern stemware completed the dining tables.

Backdrop and comfy seating to peruse the auction catalog.
After dinner, guests proceeded to Play, where they partook of a "poolside at the Viceroy" concept with striped graphic tents, a reflective "swimming pool" dance floor, Moët champagnes and Belvedere vodka bars, while dancing to Memphis Train.

The event raised a cool $1.6 million.

Models welcome Ball guests to the after-dinner lounge, Pause.
The Pause Lounge
In Pause, the quiet after-dinner lounge, vibe music, concentric floral rings standing 16 feet tall and blue velvet furnishings with Venetian mirrored bars, completed the effect.
