Women That Soar Is Putting On The Ritz, Hosting the First Annual Brilliantly You Gala at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas

A distinguished group of Dallas-area Who's Who will turn out for the First Annual Brilliantly You Gala, September 14, 2007, 6:30 p.m. -10:00 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. This much anticipated event will honor Dallas, Houston and Austin business and community leaders - Kim Askew, Gloria Campos, Heidi Dillon, Carolyn Farb, Ebby Halliday, Nancy Lieberman, Anita Perry, René Syler, Ann Williams, Myrna Schlegel, Kim Schlegel-Whitman, Kari and Krystal Schlegel. A special tribute will also honor Ms. Ebby Halliday with a "Life Time Achievement Award."

The evening will be a star-studded stellar affair. Guest will arrive to a red carpet welcome at the newly designed, sophisticated décor of The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. There will be Hollywood-style entertainment with The Dallas Black Dance Theater performing along with vocalist Hilary Roberts.

This dynamic group of women were chosen because of their commitment to achieving personal and business success and empowering and inspiring other women. When thinking of things that are brilliant, one thinks of many things: the women being honored are strong, powerful, talented women who represent brilliance at its best. They are women who have overcome daunting obstacles and traveled the journey to success. Brilliantly You is a Women That Soar statewide campaign promoting the importance of women's empowerment and raising money and awareness for Dress for Success Dallas.

"It is an honor and a privilege to be associated with these top leading women and such a worthy organization as Dress for Success Dallas. Their mission parallels our company's mission to support women professionally and personally," says Gina Grant, founder of Women That Soar, a media networking company developed for women by women. "Throughout the year these honorees have shared their professional and personal stories to help other women realize their own strength and brilliance."

Brilliantly You celebrates women of substance, applauds their personal journeys, acknowledges their business and civic accomplishments and publicly recognizes the spirit and brilliance within each honoree. "Most importantly," says Grant, "Brilliantly You celebrates the spirit, mentorship and the journey of women. Brilliantly You emphasizes the importance of each one teaching one."

Southwest Airlines, Wells Fargo Bank, Tiffany & Co., Pfizer, Hughes and Luce Law Firm, Pavestone Company, Lock, Liddle and Sapp, and Barefoot Wines are among this year's corporate sponsors. "This annual event would not be possible without the support of our very generous sponsors. We are thankful for their support and commitment to our mission," says Noelle LeVeaux Dugan, Executive Director of Dress for Success Dallas.

The year's Chairwoman is Suzanne Bock, Vice President of Business Development for Wells Fargo the Private Bank. Gala presenters include Harriett Miers, Jim Keyes, Pat Smith, Deion Sanders, Steven Durham, Nina Vacca, the Honorable Donna Arp, and Zenetta Williams.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Dinner and entertainment begin at 7:30 p.m.
