Suzanne Bock Grishman and Linda Yater, Bridge Breast Network board members and Fly Away with The Bridge event chairs, announced that the recent Fly Away with The Bridge gala brought in more funds than ever, bringing in $157,000 and netting $115,000, benefiting the Bridge Breast Network.
Honorary Chair, Judge Joe Kendall joined co-chairs Hamilton Sneed and Sherri and Dr. Mason Yeary, along with Dale Hruby, president, Bridge board and Terry Wilson-Gray, Executive Director, The Bridge Breast Network, in the evening of food, fun and dancing.
The pink carpet was rolled out for VIPs as they were chauffeured in Range Rovers to the private entrance of the Million Air Dallas hangar in Addison Airport for pre-event champagne in the exclusive upstairs lounge.
This jet-set evening included a silent auction, dancing to TrueBone, delicious dinner buffet including gourmet goodies from Gilbert Garza – Suze; Ron Serrats – Bailey’s Prime Plus and Cruz Martinez – Patrizio; a Scotch and Cigar Lounge sponsored by The Macallan and Nat Sherman Cigars, wines by Barefoot and spirits by Veev. |

Fly Away With The Bridge is the annual event to benefit The Bridge Breast Network, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to save lives by providing access to diagnostic and treatment services for breast cancer to low income, uninsured and under-insured individuals.
History and Mission: The Bridge Breast Network is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to save lives by providing access to diagnostic and treatment services for breast cancer to low income, uninsured and underinsured individuals. The Bridge serves uninsured and underinsured women and men in 16 counties in the DFW area.
In the past decade, The Bridge has served over 100,000 North Texans and connected more than 10,000 with medical treatment. The Bridge was founded in 1992 to serve as the link between uninsured and underinsured women and men and the life-saving care they so desperately need. Only through the help of volunteers and generous donations from the North Texas community is The Bridge able to carry out this vital mission.Status or circumstance shouldn’t be a factor in the fight against breast cancer. Cancer doesn’t care whether a person is Asian or Caucasian, 16 or 60, insured or not. The care shouldn’t discriminate either.
