In 2008, The Family Place added one extra day to the Partners Card campaign, giving
Partners Card cardholders 10 days of savings.
Since its launch in 1993, the fundraising program has grown from 175 participating stores and raising $90,000 to more than 750 participating retailers and restaurants in 2008 and raising a record-breaking $924,000 to help victims of domestic violence.
With the purchase of a $60 Partners Card each year, cardholders participate in the 10-day shopping event and save 20 percent at more than 750 retail venues and restaurants throughout the Dallas area, including Arlington, Grapevine, McKinney, Plano and Southlake.
Acceptance among merchants in Dallas has grown tremendously, and participating venues range from boutiques to popular national stores to high-end retailers and even restaurants. For more information, visit www.partnerscard.org. |

The Family Place and 2009 Partners Card presented by Bank of Texas Co-Chairmen Jennifer Burns, Jennifer Tobin and Paige Westhoff announced proceeds from Partners Card 2009 at a celebration at the home of Patti Flowers. In addition, the Partners Auxiliary Board, Partners Card committee, sponsors and many dedicated volunteers were recognized for their outstanding teamwork. Top seller prizes were also presented.
$880,805 was raised to help victims of domestic violence. The Partners Card program grew with a record-breaking number of participating retailers, including more than 775 stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area.
