Junior Friends of the Arboretum First Fall Look

New Junior Group benefits the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Society

The Junior Friends of the Arboretum hosted its first event recently at the Camp House at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

“This event is more like a soft opening,” said Angela Choquette, Inaugural Co-Chair with Angela Jones. “The Camp House is the perfect place for our new advisory council and special guests to gather to get to know one another before our big splash celebration on October 14th.”

“We’re thrilled to have such enthusiastic participation,” Angela Jones said. “Everyone brought a few friends and our membership is growing! The new Junior Friends is something Angela and I have been working on for a long time and we encourage everyone to take a look at our membership package and benefits. We’re sure this group will have an impact on benefiting the Dallas Arboretum, the jewel of our city.”

Joining the co-chairs are members of the Advisory Council: Sharon Adams, Alisa Besen, Rex Blazevich, Allison Eagan, Michael Holmes,Amie Mayes, Benjamin Ross, Maile Shea, Misty Willcox and Friends Committee Liaisons, Marena Gault and Melissa McRoberts.
