Exciting
News! Dallas-based
websites offer businesses and non profit organizations vibrant marketing
venues, "We are thrilled and honored to announce that Consumer Reports E Ratings have deemed both socialwhirl.com and its sister website, adamspr.com Praise Worthy for continuing the pledge mandated by their Consumer Web Watch Guidelines," says Sharon Adams, principal of Adams Communications, the public relations firm which owns and operates both websites. "The
enthusiastic feedback, excitement and support we have received since
our inception in December of 2001 is a tremendous endorsement,"
Mrs. Adams says. "Through hard work, strict attention to consumer
guidelines, feedback from readers and a dedication to always be open
and above board with the websites' content, I felt socialwhirl.com
and adamspr.com were ready for strict review by Consumer Web Watch.
We are thrilled they have agreed and are honored to receive their endorsement." 1. Link

Mission: We have posted thousands of press announcements on the Dallas, Aspen and Santa Fe "Scene and Be Seen" pages highlighting many different non profit organizations and the businesses who support them at no cost to them. Many organizations purchase "Party Pics" pages to showcase their special events and businesses purchase full page ads, feature articles and announcements (like 1/2 page ads) throughout the year to keep their name in front of a growing number of readers each month from all around the world. Stats. It is through the support of these advertisers that socialwhirl.com can continue our mission. We thank each and everyone of our these supporters and and encourage our readers to visit their websites and learn more about them. eBuzzNewsletter
is all about getting the word out
all over the world. (Dallas -April 7, 2006)- "News is moving so fast," says Sharon Adams, principal, socialwhirl.com. "Everything is hyper-cyberspace and accessible from anywhere, anytime. It's a very exciting time to be in the midst of it all. In the past five years since I've been doing socialwhirl.com and adamspr.com, the internet has exploded. From my experience, the websites and newsletters that last are the ones which offer the fastest breaking news and the most relevant information to the right audience: those who sign up and want to know what's going on, either using that information as a resource for their publication and/or forwarding the news to friends all over the world." Socialwhirl.com's eBuzzNewsletter does just that. Sure, most media receives the same press releases. Dallas' public relations professionals are very savvy. But there are times when a business or non profit organization has breaking news, doesn't have a publicist on board, maybe even doesn't have a web page, doesn't have the time to research which media should receive which information and feels at a total loss on how to get the word out. That's when they can send their press releases and news to us at sadams@socialwhirl.com and we can help. Serving as a resource for media as well as news-savvy readers from all over the world, eBuzzNewsletter helps cover all of the bases. In March 2006, socialwhirl.com had hundreds even thousands of visits from these countries, listed in the most hits first from: Networks (132,035), US Commercial, Unknown, US Educational, Non Profit Organizations, Canada, US Government, United States, US Military, United Kingdom, Australia, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Belgium, Mexico, Uganda, Poland, Singapore, Israel, Japan, Portugal, Denmark, Norway, New Zealand, Austria and more. Those are just the top 30. "It occurred to me that sending a weekly newsletter to an audience that opted in to receive it was the way to help the independent businessman, university, non profit organization or corporation get their news to those who could channel it to media and spread the word," said Adams. "That's the mission of eBuzzNewsletter and we encourage everyone to sign in and stay informed." Emailed to opt-in subscribers only once a week, eBuzzNewsletter will take sending press releases to a higher level and reach a much wider audience than previously thought possible. "It's also published as a web page and accessible 24 hours a day," Adams says. "Each week we update the web page, archive last week's page and move on. Meticulous records are kept of each week's entries, so if anyone has a question about an item that has previously appeared on the web page or newsletter, we're glad to point them in the right direction, including contact information and a copy of the release." Options for including hi res images for media to download, streaming video and more are available on a one-week publication basis or longer. That saves the time of training someone or learning yourself how to upload a hi res image or .ftp a file, deal with streaming video, etc. With eBuzzNewsletter, all you have to do is provide us with the product and we'll take it from there. If you need help creating your streaming videos, Adobe files, etc., we can help, too. All the reader has to do is click on the link to access the information. It's that simple. "Having worked in public relations since 1985 and having been faced with the frustrations of learning what's up with the internet and how I can make it work in the best way for my clients, I'm thrilled to be able to provide this newsletter as a vehicle for people all over the world. It's a very exciting time!" Read

A little history about socialwhirl.com and adamspr.com In July of 2001, acting on pure enthusiasm and with no formal training, Sharon Adams dove into cyberspace, launching adamspr.com as a venue to showcase the businesses and charitable causes supported by her Dallas-based public relations firm, Adams Communications Public Relations, founded in 1985. A self-taught entrepreneur, she spent the summer of 2001 learning how to build the website. Beginning with the social season in September 2001, adamspr.com highlighted a few clients' special events. Feedback was positive. Excitement was building. By the time the fall was over, Mrs. Adams realized the absolute advantages of worldwide exposure and developed a plan to expand this vision by offering non-client charitable organizations and corporations the opportunity to participate in this unique website. In December 2001, she launched the new socialwhirl.com and began touting her websites in two of the cities she most enjoys visiting: Aspen and Santa Fe. Jumping on the bandwagon almost immediately were organizations in Santa Fe, New Mexico, such as the Buckaroo Ball, Georgia O'Keeffe Museum bought pages to highlight their anniversary celebration and the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival came on board. Aspen Art Museum is a continued supporter, as well as other non- profit organizations and businesses in Dallas. Today,
socialwhirl.com has become the internet vehicle to help non-profit
organizations spread the word about their special events and missions
and also incorporates a dynamic lifestyles email newsletter, eBuzzNewsletter. With your support by purchasing full page ads and features, special events and party pics pages, you show your commitment in support of our mission. Thank you for visiting socialwhirl.com! |
