It was a blast and blow out party at the indoor courtyard in front of Neiman Marcus NorthPark this summer when Stella McCartney breezed through town.

Her limo quietly purred by the curbside of the first floor south entrance. Before you knew it, Ken Downing, Senior Vice President and Fashion Director, Neiman Marcus and Stella McCartney quietly exited and whoosh - the evening grew lighter because of the flashes, the fashion fans crowded in, all while Downing escorted a very surprised but gracious McCartney down the blue carpet.

She shook hands, posed with fashionistas and ta-da! The Carter High School Cowboys band and drill team took over the show. With the band in full welcome song and the drill team literally flipping each other up into the air, waving pom-poms, all the while shouting "Stella, Stella!"the entourage slowly made their way into the indoor courtyard.

Fruit popsicles were served alongside vegeterian nibbles, Veuve Clicquot champagne, Belvedere vodka and
Green Point chardonnay.

Kim Dawson male models wearing bikini swimsuits, boots and cowboy hats posed on the brick towers inside the fountains surrounded by lit little rubber duckies floating in the pond. Female models sported Stella's togs while bartenders served drinks decked out in Stella spray painted t-shirts.
