Chaired by Jennifer Sampson, Tablescapes, the annual fundraiser of the Dallas Alumnae Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma (KKG)features style-maker William Yeoward, October 15 and 16, 2007 at the Dallas County Club. Presented by Central Market, the event features tabletop creations from 60 of Dallas' top designers.

Don't miss this opportunity to see some of the most fantastic tabletop designs ever. The Tuesday luncheon is sold out, but tickets are still available for the Monday evening Tablescapes by Candelight, a reception featuring a cocktail buffet and the opportunity to visit with Yeoward while viewing the extraordinary table designs. This reception is open to the public, and tickets are $110. Those who want a sneak peek of the designs can also attend a "First Hour, First Viewing" champagne preview beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets to the preview are $150 per person. Kappa Kappa Gamma Tablescapes Celebrates 13 Years of Giving to the Dallas Community

Headlining this year's Tablescapes event is style-maker William Yeoward. Recognized internationally for his award winning crystal designs, Yeoward is also a London-based retailer and designer of beautiful home accessories and tableware. During the event, Yeoward will autograph copies of his bestselling book, Perfect Tables: Tabletop Secrets, Settings and Centerpieces for Delicious Dining.

After the Monday night Tablescapes by Candelight, Tablescapes continues on Tuesday, Oct. 16 with a sold-out luncheon for KKG alumnae and event underwriters. In addition to Central Market, event sponsors include American Airlines, D Home, MADISON and Sewell Automotive Companies.

Proceeds from the event will go to various nonprofit agencies including American Foundation for the Blind, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Community Partners of Dallas, Jeffries Street Learning Center, KKG Leadership Academy, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Park South YMCA, Pastoral Counseling & Education Center, and West Dallas Community School.

"It's an honor to lead this talented team of Kappa alumnae for the benefit of our very deserving beneficiaries," said Jennifer Sampson, 2007 Tablescapes chairwoman. "We are so thankful for our generous underwriters and loyal supporters."

Tablescapes has raised more than $1 million to benefit Dallas nonprofit agencies since its inception in 1995.

For those who wanted to view the designs prior to the 7:30 p.m. hour, there was a ‘First Hour, First Viewing’ champagne preview beginning at 6:30 p.m.More than 800 guests attended. The evening's reception is a must see for everyone who entertains ... or not. After savoring these inspired designs, you'll be setting the date for your own smashing party.

The event continued on Tuesday, October 17 with a sold-out luncheon for KKG alumnae and event underwriters, beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by guest speaker Charles Faudree at 11:30 a.m. and lunch.
