Zoo
to Do 2006 sold out with just over 600 guests attending. The chef's
auction item brought in $9,000 and the entire event net closed
at just over $500,000!
The
party was held on the Wilds of Africa Plaza at the Dallas Zoo.
The evening began with cocktails, a monorail tour and the opening
of the silent auction.
It
continued with more than 20 of Dallas' finest chefs and restaurants
providing food at different stations arranged throughout the area.
It is a true "grazing" evening. Music, dancing and other
live entertainment are continuous.
This
is an all-inclusive evening and a wonderful way to kick off the
fall season!
Mark
your calendars now for Saturday,
September 15, 2007 - Zydeco Zoo to Do!(Info.)

There
was a drawing in the VIP party room to see who would get to feed
the crocodiles.
So,
we went to the pen, where they called the crocs in with a cowbell.
Patty Stone (in an above photo) was one of the lucky winners who
lobbed treats over the fence.
