The Trinity Trust LAUNCH Raises Funds for Trinity River Corridor Revitalization |
 |
The Trinity Trust held one of Dallas’ most unique sold out fundraising events of the season—LAUNCH—on the Continental Bridge overlooking downtown Dallas, On November 15, LAUNCH celebrated the Trinity River Project, a $1.7 billion public works project that will revitalize the Trinity River Corridor. The event also celebrated the supporters and included a special video presentation with a sneak peek of part of the Trinity River Corridor model, made possible by a generous donation from ALON USA.
“The Trinity River is Dallas’ future. This LAUNCH event offered us the opportunity to rise to the occasion and support a project of this magnitude; it is our chance to truly make a difference in Dallas’ future,” said Dr. Gail Thomas, president and chief executive officer of The Trinity Trust Foundation.
Lynn McBee, LAUNCH event chairman, added, “We thank ALON USA for their lead gift to the campaign to raise private funds for the Trinity River Project. We also thank all of our other sponsors and supporters who believe in the future of the Trinity River and what it will mean for generations to come.” |
